Knowing when and where to start makes a difference!

Elite Prospect Zone (EPZ) provides valuable recruiting information to high school student-athletes. We are a consulting service working with coaches, school counselors and reputable recruiting services to make sure student-athletes are provided necessary information to have an opportunity to take their sport to the next level while receiving higher education.  Learn more

Approved Core Courses - Division I (16 Core Course)
  • 4 Years English
  • 3 Years Mathematics
    (Algebra 1 or higher)
  • 2 Years of Natural/Physical Science
    (1 year of lab if offered by high school)
  • 1 year of additional English, Mathematics or Natural/Physical Science
  • 2 Years of Social Science
  • 4 Years Additional Courses
    (From any of the above, foreign language or nondoctrinal religion/philosophy)

Checklist for College-Bound Student Athletes
  • Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center at the beginning of your junior year at www.ncaaclearinghouse.net
  • Complete the amateurism questionnaire completely and truthfully
  • Ask your high school guidance counselor to send your transcripts to the Eligibility Center at the end of your junior year
  • Take the ACT or SAT and use the code "9999" to have your official scores sent directly to the Eligbility Center
  • Check with your guidance counselor to make sure you are on track to graduate on time with your class and have the required amount of core courses
  • Request final amateurism certification during your senior year (Beginning April 1 for fall enrollees and October 1 for spring enrollees)
  • Ask your high school guidance counselor to submit your final transcripts with proof of graduation
